The apology is almost nonsensical. Neil's ready to say that, but then Gabriel's kissing him, and Neil flushes so deep and so hot he's impressed his hair doesn't ignite. He kisses back, because of course, of course he'll kiss Gabriel back. But he's aware of the come on his lips and the rest of his face, and he doesn't want to gross Gabriel out.

He's painfully hard, but doesn't draw attention, too wrapped up in kissing.
