"It is," Neil agrees, nodding. "I've never really been out of New England--the northeast. But I have friends who've gone to Florida, and California, all that stuff."

And now, Neil was never going to see those places. The knowledge sank in him for a moment. But he smiled.

"Did you get to visit him in California?"
